Description: The James T. Vaughn Correctional Center underwent a decentralization, in which a central plant was decommissioned and stand-alone mechanical rooms were constructed in half of the complex, and equipment upgrades were performed in the other half. Energy-saving automatic temperature controls were upgraded and installed throughout the project. Ecologic developed the implementation phase of the project, assembled a team to design and implement the desired energy conservation measures, and brought the project in under budget.
